It really saddens me to see so many military installations closing. Our military has really taken a beating the last few years.

The one thing that many people may not realize, most of the civilians who are losing their jobs, on the military installations are ex-military. It's a known fact in the military community that most GS/WG Civilian Employees are either a military veteran, a military spouse, or a military retiree.

International Post - Eliminate Computer Malware, Adware, and Browser Helper Objects

If you need malware and adware solutions, this book has my highest recommendation. Protect your resumes and important documents.

I was lost with all sorts of computer problems. Recently, I lost everything on my computer. Once I started going through Steve Freedman's book, "Help! Something's Got a Hold of My Computer...and It Won't Let Go", I found many free solutions to protect my computer against malware and spyware. Even though I have dynamic security software, many things were going undetected.

Update From Previous Post:

Steve's free solutions showed me how to get malicious adware off of my computer. When I first ran one of his solutions, it detected 83 occurences of adware/malware on my computer. The second check, I eliminated a total of 375 occurences on my computer. Yikes!! Just visiting web sites can be dangerous! Did you know just visiting a website can download items in your computer??

Steve's web site has a great deal of information on various malicious efforts people will take on your computer. His web site can be translated into several languages (Deutsch, O Portugues, L'italiano, El Espanol, and Francais). Just stopping by his web site will show you some of the malicious acts that are happening to people everyday.

If you plan on keeping files you currently have, his book is a must read. Don't let Malware, Spyware, Hijackers, Phishing, Keyloggers, or unwanted Browser Helper Objects sneak up on you. Steve's a webmaster and has taught many how to save and protect their computers.
