Posting Has Resumed

Greetings,

We're back! Veterans In Motion has been working on a few initiatives for the last week and has had success.

Veteran Centers:

The local Veteran Centers can be a great asset while leaving the military. Be sure to do a search in Google and find the nearest Vet Center. They can assist with finding local agencies to assist you while you're doing your job search. They can also assist with your counseling needs. Contact the nearest Vet Center and see what you qualify for as a soon to be veteran.

Veteran Representatives:

At most unemployment offices there's a Veteran's Representative to assist you. They can let you know what companies are hiring veterans in your area. They can also assist you with finding out if you're qualified for the Rehabilitation Programs for training and employment. Be sure to stop by your local unemployment office prior to leaving the military.

Military Transition Newsletter will resume next week for transition tips for leaving the military.
